Juicy Gola Kabab Recipe – Kitchen With Appi
Hello Friends! Welcome to Kitchen With Appi!
Today I am sharing my special Juicy Gola Kabab Recipe. These Gola Kababs are super soft, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. This is a perfect recipe for dinner, dawat, and Eid. Once you try it, you will make it again and again.
Ingredients for Gola Kabab:
500g ground beef / lamb keema (finely minced)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin powder (zeera)
1 tsp coriander powder (dhania)
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp roasted gram / besan powder
Fresh coriander, chopped
1 tsp garam masala
Wooden skewers for grilling
1 charcoal piece for smoking + ghee for smoke
How to Make Gola Kabab:
1. Mix all ingredients: In a chopper, add keema, all spices, onion, hara dhania, and roasted besan. Chop well until it becomes a smooth mixture.
2. Shape and Fry: Make small round balls (gola) from the mixture and put them on wooden skewers. Shallow fry in little oil until golden brown and fully cooked.
3. Give Smoke (Koyla Dhuwaan): Place a small steel bowl inside the kabab pan. Put hot burning charcoal in it, add a little ghee on top, and immediately cover the lid for 3-4 minutes. This will give a perfect restaurant-style smoky flavor.
4. Serve: Serve hot and juicy Gola Kabab with green mint chutney, raita, and naan. Enjoy!
Tips from Appi:
Always use finely minced keema for soft kababs.
Do not skip the besan, it helps to bind the kababs.
Do not over-fry, otherwise kababs will become hard.
